We often forget to laugh and working behind the desk for 60 hours a week was a good reason why.

This is a picture of me, laughing for the first time in a long time at an Exercise your Laughter Meetup group in San Diego. It’s hard to imagine that these life-changing classes are for free. It’s hard to believe that I was starting to live my life right there and then.

I quit my job to start a career in getting to know myself. Getting to know myself, how? I knew that I loved making things. My now former job was in the technical side, making clothes on paper, sewing, always keeping my hands busy. The first few months of coming out of work was pure bliss. Waking up to prepare breakfast and spending the rest of my days doing nothing… except for waiting around to make meals for myself and my partner in the evenings. It was very simple, very easy at first, but depressing after the vacation was over and reality set in.

What should I do? How do I see myself 5, 10, 15yrs from now? Nothing planned, just driven to learn.
